Use the Web History Repository for your own research

Via Facebook we received a question: "Can I also access the data you collect this way for my own research needs?" The short answer is YES.

We aim to create a public repository of web usage data for the profit of these communities - and eventually you will benefit from better browsers, add-ons and other tools.

Thus far, the Firefox Add-On has been downloaded 412 times and 58 people submitted their data. Once we have passed the (arbitrary) threshold of 100 users, we will put it online - and update the download on a regular basis.

That doesn't need to take long: it can be tomorrow if you help us to spread the word.
